Busking @ Bowens Returns for Fall!

The Busking @ Bowen’s Fall Series returns now until October 27 with acoustic music on Bowen’s Wharf to welcome visitors and entertain locals during the fall season. One of the high foot-traffic areas in Newport, this “busking” or street performance concept is a tradition in which performing artists bare their souls and connect with passers by. Artists this season include My Mother’s Moustache, Panoramic View, The Troubles, The Copacetics, and soloists including Ilana Katz Katz, Dave Schneider, Warren Smith, and Kate Grana. This Busking @ Bowens series also acts as a great countdown to Bowen’s Wharf 25th Annual Seafood Festival. This event happens Saturday, October 17th and Sunday October 18th and has been named one of the “10 Fabulous Fall Festivals on the Coast”, by Coastal Living Magazine. Honoring the “Harvest of the Sea,” the Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival offers fresh, local seafood, continuous live music, and family fun, all beneath the Wharf’s colorful tents.
