25th Annual Seafood Festival with Libations Aplenty!

What’s a fantastic waterfront Seafood Festival without a Tall Ship and libations aplenty? This year Bowen’s Wharf introduces the 200-foot Tall Ship Oliver Hazard Perry, Rhode Isl and’s official sailing education vessel. Save October 17th and 18th: Tour the first tall ship built in the United States in over 100 years. Three masts, over six miles of traditional
nrigging  and you can’t even guess how many sails are on this modern ship! She’ll be conveniently dockside at Bowen’s Ferry L anding Marina, just steps from the live music stages and over 20 restaurant vendors. Tickets to board ship will be sold at the dock. Proceeds from these tickets and all beverage purchases at the new Seafood Festival bar stations benefit this non-profit organization.

‘Tis the season for craft brews and spirits. On site restaurants like Diego’s, Wharf Pub, 22Bowen’s and neighboring SaltWater will also sell the sponsored drinks along with their full bar menus on their premises. You’ll enjoy libations created by Revival Brewing Co., Grey Sail Brewing of RI, and Bully Boy Distillers, with special thanks to McLaughlin & Moran and Elevated Spirits. And if perhaps you consider yourself more of a wine connoisseur, Newport Vineyards will be joining us as well. Don’t forget we offer their wine tasting tours for sale through our own Pilot House! So please join the 6,000-8,000 locals and devoted visitors over the course of this two-day event, because this year’s 25th Annual Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival is not one to miss. Rain or shine, free admission and extended hours on Saturday 11am to 6pm! Eat, love, breathe the harvest of the sea with us on the waterfront in Newport.
