Explore Shops To the visitors, tenants, vendors and employees of Bowen’s Wharf. During these unprecedented times, the safety of all who enjoy, work or dine at our historical wharf is our greatest concern.

While we are actively monitoring any developments with COVID-19 and following the guidance of the governor, the RI department of health and the CDC, we have decided to close our Bowen’s Wharf Pilot House/Welcome Center and our public restrooms. We will keep you updated via our website.

We have relaxed the hours of operation here at the wharf to facilitate our tenants ability to follow federal and state guidelines. We recommend that you check with each business for their hours of operation before making any plans. The restaurants at Bowen’s Wharf will be following the governor’s emergency declaration regarding the closing of restaurants to dine in patrons. Please call our restaurant’s to verify if they are offering take out. We encourage you to support our businesses and providing much needed revenue, by purchasing gift cards where available.

Bowen’s Wharf is always open, providing access to our historical site and waterfront. If you would like to visit please abide by federal and state guidelines recommending no groups with more than 10 persons. We encourage you to practice social distancing and wish you all safety and good health.

Sincerely,
Bartlett S. Dunbar, President
