As a special collaboration in the autumn, Isl and Moving Company’s site-specific dance and art festival, Open for Dancing, opens September 20th and blends perfectly with the Busking @ Bowen’s Fall Series presented with BankNewport. Open for Dancing brings together choreographers, musicians, visual artists, community members and dancers of the Isl and Moving Company to create original dances for l andscapes throughout Aquidneck Isl and. The lead photo, from a previous Open for Dancing Performance at St. George’s School, is by Alex ander Nesbitt, a local photographer whose woodblock photos are available at his gallery in Newport and at our Pilot House.
