Our Marina is open for the season!

With the warm weather finally upon us, there’s nothing quite like a day on the water! And those familiar with Newport harbor know the season is upon us, as we begin to see sailing and boating vessels of all types fill the waterfront and marinas. Our marina here at Bowen’s Ferry L anding is also open for the season and ready to assist you with all your needs! Whether your choice of “ship” is a dinghy, a schooner, or a luxury motor yacht, the Bowen’s Ferry L anding Marina offers a large variety of resources and accommodations. nnn

When you find yourself at Bowen’s Ferry L anding Marina, you will also find that you’re only steps away from a variety of award-winning restaurants and unique shops. Included in these is our on-site Ship’s Store and Rigging, which find itself under the new ownership of Nick DeRosa. (seen below) At Ship’s Store and Rigging you can pick up ice, rigging supplies, clothing, etc all while conveniently located at our free tie-up dinghy dock. Other shops such as Soap & Water, Egg & Dart, Custom Canvas Newport, and our Bowen’s Wharf Pilot House carry ocean-friendly products to make entertaining on the water delightfully fragrant, fun, and easy!

Bowen’s Wharf and Marina offers all you need for a summer on the waterfront. And if you’re not a boat owner yourself, we still invite you to come down and explore our first-class marina, where visitors are often greeted by dock manager Alex Perry. This past weekend we acted as “home base” for some beautiful classic charter boats, such as the Mariner III (112′), that was chartered for the Volvo Ocean Race Newport Stopover. So make sure to rendezvous at Bowen’s Wharf, enjoy a meal, or a just an ice cream, and explore our waterfront and marina!
