Events: Fall Festivals and Music

Living large in September! Prosecco at Opening Night of the Newport Wooden Boat Show, mudslides all sunny weekend, the 85′ classic yacht Enticer and so much more at Bowen’s Wharf Marina. Bringing the Wooden Boat Show back to life in Newport was a welcome happening during the Newport International Boat Show.

The exhibition and celebration of Wood, Wind & Water is ongoing through December at Seamen’s Church Institute, as is their wonderful speaker series. 

Plan to make a night of it and stay for dinner on the waterfront. Waking up on the wharf is magical, we encourage you to try it by booking in at the Crow’s Nest, maybe even during the upcoming Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival, and then you’ll know what we’re talking about.

The craftsmanship and camaraderie among the exhibitors was heart-warming and we can’t wait to feel the teak under our toes as often as possible. Stop in and see some detailed, artistic drawings from Cape Cod’s pre-eminent naval architect during our Busking @ Bowen’s Live Music Fall Series. So many reasons to escape to the waterfront.
