25th Annual Seafood Fest Success!

This year’s 25th Annual Seafood Festival drew thous ands to an exp anded waterfront festival! Throughout a beautiful, and cool, weekend, 33 vendors were on h and with seafood fare from chowder and clamcakes to shucked oysters and so much more. Organizers said the festival brings in between 6,000 to 10,000 people each year, ranging from locals to visitors from across the country. This years festival had a strong focus on conservation and Bowen’s Wharf Co. raised $13,000 to benefit the Sailing School Vessel Oliver Hazard Perry. The 200-foot Tall Ship was on site at our marina with interactive storytelling on board, and Save the Bay’s Alletta Morris was also alongside offering touch tanks. They are at Bowen’s Wharf through to next April offering Seal Watch Tours that can be booked through our Pilot House as well, at 401-849-3478
