Winter Days and Winter Nights

Snuggled home by warm hearths or out enjoying sparkling nights on the town, winter is upon us here in New Engl and. We’re so proud of our contribution to Christmas in Newport and hope that you have found many delightful presents whilst shopping locally. (Roger King Fine Art Gallery displays the stunning Santa among their collection of American art, where original/one-of-a-kind art is tax-free). Many hours were spent by staff, tenants & marina guests to illuminate the wharf, The North Pole,   and for the 46th year in a row, a giant Christmas Tree at the Anchor of Newport. Travel + Leisure just awarded Bowen’s Wharf the best Christmas Tree in Rhode Isl and in their national compilation. It’s a good time to take a moment, breathe, and reflect on the history of Christmas, and the holidays.

Gift giving and generosity during the holidays can be so rewarding, but a little stressful. We hope you, your family and friends will find some time to escape to the waterfront. Our business owners have outdone themselves with specialty items, gorgeous gift-wrapping (check in on our Facebook page for our favorite gift ideas). Over 20 business owners are thrilled to help you in person, perhaps while you dine out they’ll get all your gifts ready for you to pick up at the end of a delicious meal. Enjoy!
