Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival Hits Record Numbers

Thank you for a fantastic weekend! We had a record number of visitors this year at the 24th Annual Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival from Maryl and, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and from all over Rhode Isl and.

Can you believe The Wharf Pub and Diego’s reported they sold over 800 cups of chowder and over 2,000 beers from Revival Brewing Company?! Additionally, Diego’s went through over 100 lbs. of cod for their fish tacos!

A big thank you to our sponsors who helped us continue this year’s tradition including, NBC-10, Revival Brewing Company, Newport Vineyards, and Bully Boy Distillers.

A huge thanks goes to the staff at Bowen’s Wharf Company, especially Shirley Hurlburt, Craig Ferris, and Alex Perry, who work hard to produce a fantastic event year after year. We have tons of volunteers who help out with face painting, bussing tables, and assisting our visitors in having an exceptional time on the Newport waterfront.
